4-1BB, also known as CD137 or TNFRSF9, is an inducible costimulatory receptor belonging to the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. It is expressed in T cells, natural killer (NK) cells, and cells of the innate immune system. Interaction between 4-1BB and its ligand (4-1BBL) can promote cell proliferation, survival, and cytokine production. Current drug development targeting 4-1BB is primarily focused on treating inflammation, autoimmune diseases, and cancer. Agonistic antibodies targeting 4-1BB show promising progress in treating inflammation and autoimmune diseases, while a combination therapy targeting 4-1BB and immune checkpoint or costimulatory targets will have a stronger anti-tumor effect.Accegen’s TNFRSF9(4-1BB) Reporter 293 Cell line is a luciferase reporter cell line constructed based on 4-1BBL/4-1BB. These cells stably express the 4-1BB gene and luciferase reporter gene, and can be used to evaluate the in vitro activation effects of therapeutic antibodies targeting 4-1BB, whether single or combination therapies.
