TLR7 is a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family responsible for recognizing pathogenic single-stranded RNA. It is mainly present in plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDC) and intracellularly in B cells, playing a crucial role in the recognition and clearance of pathogenic microorganisms in the human body. The mechanism of action of TLR7 receptor agonists involves stimulating pDC to secrete interferon-alpha (IFN-α), which acts on other immune cells like NK cells and macrophages to enhance immune response. Additionally, it can activate pDC to improve antigen presentation capacity, promote CD4+ T cell proliferation, further activate CD8+ T cells, leading to tumor cell killing and exerting anti-tumor effects. The TLR7 NFKB Reporter HEK-293 Cell Line is a cell line utilizing HEK-293 as the host cell, engineered to stably express human TLR7 and NFKB-Luc reporter genes through lentivirus infection. The bioactivity of TLR7-related inhibitors can be measured through luciferase generated by the NFKB pathway in this cell line, making it suitable for research on TLR7-related anti-tumor drugs.
