Rat bone marrow macrophages (RPBMMACs) are derived from the tibias and femurs of Sprague–Dawley rats. RPBMMACs are grown in 100 mm treated tissue culture dish and incubated in Culture Complete Growth Medium for 10-15 days. Cultures are then expanded.
