Natural killer (NK) cells are an important component of the innate immune system. Among the four known natural cytotoxicity receptors, three are constitutively expressed on NK cells (NKp30, NKp46, and NKp80), while NKp44 is only present on activated NK cells. NKp30 is expressed on almost all human NK cells. This NCR has been shown to play a crucial role in the crosstalk between NK cells and dendritic cells (DCs) by promoting the maturation of immature DCs and cytotoxicity. When NKp30 binds to activating antibodies or ligands, it transduces a strong activation signal to the cells, and signal transduction through NKp30 occurs via the ITAM motifs in FcεRIγ and CD3ζ. NKp30 Reporter Jurkat Cell Line is an engineered cell line stably expressing NKp30, FcεRIγ, and Luciferase. By adding coated NKp30 agonist antibodies, stimulating the binding of NKp30 with CD3ζ and FcεRIγ, downstream signaling is activated, leading to the expression of luciferase.
