Human Bone Marrow-derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells (hMSCs) are highly promising for both clinical and experimental applications, owing to their ability to self-renew and differentiate into various mesenchymal lineages. These cells play a critical role in promoting the growth and differentiation of primitive hematopoietic cells, as well as maintaining leukemic cells. However, primary cultures of hMSCs suffer from limitations such as a restricted in vitro lifespan and variable properties among cells from different donors and over time in culture.
