The human STAT6 Luciferase Reporter cell line is a stably transfected Ba/F3 cell line which expresses Renilla luciferase reporter gene under the transcriptional control of the STAT6 responsive promoter, so that the cell line is designed to measure the transcriptional activity of STAT6. Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 6 (STAT6) is a member of the STAT transcription factor family and plays an important role in adaptive immunity by transducing signals from extracellular cytokines including IL-4.
