Human Splenocyte Smooth Muscle Cells

Smooth muscle cells, also known as smooth muscle fibers, are long, fibrous cells that make up smooth muscle. Spleen is an important lymphoid organ, which has functions of hematopoiesis, filtering blood, clearing old blood cells and participating in immune reaction. Smooth muscle is involved in human intestinal activity. Muscle cell, also known as myofibers, are found in muscle tissue. These cells are elongated and tubular in shape. Muscle cells develop from myoblasts.
