Human Scleroderma Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) are isolated from the blood of patients diagnosed with systemic sclerosis (SSc), a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by fibrosis of the skin and internal organs. These PBMCs represent a diverse population of immune cells, including T cells, B cells, monocytes, and dendritic cells, which play pivotal roles in the pathogenesis of autoimmune disorders. Scleroderma PBMCs are particularly useful for studying the immune dysregulation and inflammatory processes that contribute to fibrosis and vascular abnormalities associated with SSc. They can be used in various in vitro assays, including cytokine secretion analysis, cell activation studies, and immune response modulation experiments.
