Cre-Expressing Human Brain Vascular Fibroblasts are isolated from human brain tissue. Cre-Expressing Human Primary Brain Vascular Fibroblasts are characterized by their spindle morphology and immunofluorescent staining with anti-fibroblast-specific protein 1 or anti-Vimentin antibody. These cells are negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, fungi, HIV-1, hepatitis B and hepatitis C and can be expanded for 3-5 passages at a split ratio of 1:2 under the cell culture conditions specified by AcceGen. Repeated freezing and thawing of cells are not recommended. Each vial contains >5 x 105 cells in 1 ml volume.
