Reporter Stable Cell Lines

Reporter cell lines are useful tools that can be used to get an easy read-out of gene activation. GFP / RFP / luciferase can be used for marker localization of a specific gene, and its activation is monitored by flow cytometry. So, reporter cells have been ideal tools for screening of high-throughput RNAi, peptide, and chemical libraries. Acceen provides reporter stable cell lines engineered by either plasmid stable transfection or lentiviral transduction for different applications. Responsive reporter cells form the core of cell-based assays for screening and identifying drugs, antibodies, cell factors, and other effectors. Reporter cell lines can be divided into two types: Constitutive Reporter Cell Lines (reporters are expressed under the control of a constitutive, strong promoter) and Inducible Reporter Cell Lines (reporters are expressed under the control of a minimal promoter).
